Do I need to code for this?

The guide does not require coding; it describes the audience as having limited to moderate technical expertise. The exam is written for knowledge workers who work with clients and teams. It asks how you write requests to Claude, check what comes back, pick the right tool, set it up for a team, use it safely and fix it when it falls short.

If you build Claude apps for a living, a different exam fits better. See CCAO-F versus CCDV-F.
